Hair Follicle Analysis

A non-invasive hair analysis that maps indicators across your nutrition, environment and lifestyle, a personalised starting point for getting your health back on track. Done entirely by post and online.

An example hair follicle analysis report

Our hair follicle analysis uses Cell Wellbeing’s epigenetic hair-mapping technology to highlight what may be influencing your wellbeing right now, not as a diagnosis, but as a personalised map you can actually act on.

From a few strands of hair, the report reflects your most recent growth period and surfaces hundreds of indicators across nutrition, foods, environmental factors and lifestyle. For a lot of people it’s a really useful starting point: somewhere concrete to begin when you know something’s off but aren’t sure where to focus.

What you get

What the report covers

Nutrition

Indicators relating to vitamins, minerals, amino acids, fatty acids and antioxidants your body may benefit from focusing on.

Foods & additives

Foods and additives showing up as a current point of focus, useful for shaping what you eat over the coming weeks.

Environmental factors

Everyday environmental influences, from toxins to EMF, that may be worth being mindful of.

Wellbeing & lifestyle

Broader indicators across gut, stress and lifestyle that help personalise your plan.

The report is a wellness and optimisation tool. It doesn’t diagnose deficiencies or disease, and it isn’t a substitute for medical testing or advice from your GP.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a medical or diagnostic test?

No. The hair follicle analysis is a wellness screening tool, not a medical or diagnostic test. It doesn’t diagnose, treat or cure any disease, and it isn’t a replacement for advice from your GP or specialist. It’s used as a starting point to personalise nutrition and lifestyle.

Do I need to be on the Gold Coast?

No. The whole process is done by post and online, so you can do it from anywhere in Australia. Your consultation with Hannah is held online via Google Meet.

How is the sample collected?

You do it yourself at home, and we’ll give you clear step-by-step instructions once you order. You pluck a small number of hairs (around 5–10) from the nape of your neck with the root attached, wrap them in paper and foil, and post them to us in a padded envelope. It’s completely non-invasive, with no blood, no fasting, and no need to come into the clinic.

What’s included?

Everything in one: the hair follicle analysis and your personalised report, plus a 30-minute online consultation with Hannah to walk through the results together and set out your next steps. The report on its own can be a lot to interpret, so the consultation is there to turn it into something you can actually act on.

How often should I retest?

The report reflects a recent window rather than a permanent picture, so some people choose to retest every few months to see how things have shifted. This is something Hannah can guide you on.
