Lab testing you can do from home, ordered through me and read with me. The kit comes to your door, the results come to me, and then we sit down together and work out what they mean.
I use functional testing when the standard tests have come back "normal" and you still don't feel right, or when a result would actually change what I do next. The panels below are run by NutriPath, an Australian functional pathology lab. I order them through my practitioner account, the kit is posted straight to you, and once your results are in we book a consultation to go through them properly.
Every test here comes with that consultation included, because a report on its own is just a lot of numbers, and the useful part is working out which of them actually matter for you and what, if anything, to do about them.
Testing sits inside online naturopathy with me. If you already see me, I’ll order anything you need during a consultation, so these pages are for ordering a test on its own.

Hormone test
A detailed hormone test you collect at home on four small urine strips across one day. It covers oestrogen and how you clear it, progesterone, androgens, your cortisol rhythm and melatonin, and we read it together in a results consultation.

A comprehensive stool test that maps your gut bacteria, checks for parasites, yeasts and viruses, and measures inflammation and digestion markers. Collected at home, posted to the lab, read with me.

A stool test designed for little guts, in two versions: one for babies and toddlers up to three, one for children and teens to seventeen. Collected at home, posted to the lab, read with me.

A self-collected swab that identifies which lactobacilli you have, the organisms behind bacterial vaginosis and thrush, seven Candida species, pH and a screen for common infections. For the thrush or BV that keeps coming back.

Where I usually start
If your cycle, mood, sleep or energy is the problem, the hormone test is usually where I start. Bloating, reflux, changeable bowels or a gut that has never quite settled point to the gut microbiome test. And there's a version built for babies and children. Thrush or BV that keeps coming back is where the vaginal microbiome test earns its place. The food panel and the DNA report are more specific tools, and I'm happy to talk through whether either makes sense for you before you order.

From order to results
Get in touch
Use the enquire button below. I'll come back to you within one business day to check the test suits you (timing, medications, that sort of thing), confirm the price and send a secure payment link. Then I place the order with NutriPath.
Your kit arrives
NutriPath posts the collection kit straight to you, with everything you need and step-by-step instructions.
Collect at home and send it back
You collect the sample at home and post it to the lab following the instructions in the kit.
Your results consultation
Results come to me. We then meet online for a 30-minute consultation to go through what they mean and what to do next.
The food sensitivity panel is the one exception: it’s a blood draw at a NutriPath collection centre rather than a posted kit.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be on the Gold Coast?
No. I consult online Australia-wide, kits are posted to you anywhere in Australia and the consultation is over video.
Who orders the test?
I do. NutriPath only takes orders from practitioners, so once you've paid I check the test suits you and place the order from my account. You don't need a GP referral.
What's in the results consultation?
A 30-minute video consultation with me. We go through your report section by section, connect it to what you've actually been experiencing, and set out next steps. It's my favourite part of the work, watching a page of numbers start to make sense of how you've been feeling. If you'd like ongoing support after that, we can book a full consultation.
Can I use bloods my GP has already done?
Yes, please send them through. I’d always rather read what you already have first, functional testing is for the gaps.
What if a test isn't right for me?
That's what the check before ordering is for. If a test turns out not to suit you, I'll suggest a better fit or refund you before anything is ordered.
