You can’t help but feel a good vibe at Sprout Natural Health. Both Conor and Hannah are professional, caring and understanding in a relaxed environment. I feel like I’m in good hands.

Support for cycles, hormones, fertility, pregnancy and menopause. Naturopathy at Sprout runs online across Australia with Hannah Ward, a degree-qualified naturopath who holds a Masters in Reproductive Medicine. Acupuncture runs in person at our Paradise Point clinic on the Gold Coast, with our AHPRA-registered acupuncturists.
Where to start
Women’s health is most of what we do at Sprout: hormones, cycles, fertility, pregnancy, thyroid, and the energy and mood changes that come with all of it. Most women who book have already tried a few things before they get to us. That’s fine. They’ve often been told their blood tests are “normal” but don’t feel well in their day-to-day life, and honestly, that’s exactly the picture this kind of care is built for. We start from wherever you are and look at why your body is responding the way it is.
There are two ways to see us. Naturopathy with Hannah runs online, Australia-wide. Acupuncture runs in person at Paradise Point on the northern Gold Coast, with Conor, Sharni and Rachel. Plenty of local women do both, and each area below links through to its own detailed page.
Where it fits
Periods that are irregular, absent, heavy, or painful in a way the usual things don’t seem to touch, and cycles finding their rhythm again after the pill.
Irregular or absent cycles, the blood sugar and androgen patterns that often sit underneath, and the skin and hair changes that come with raised androgens.
More on PCOS & hormonal health →Hot flushes, waking at 2am, mood changes, and brain fog you can’t quite pin to anything specific. The lead-up can start years before your period stops.
Preconception groundwork and egg quality, cycle regularity, ovulation and the luteal phase, and support alongside IVF.
More on fertility naturopathy →Nausea and nutrition through pregnancy, labour preparation from 37 weeks, and postpartum depletion, that bone-tired, nothing-left-in-the-tank feeling that’s more than just broken sleep.
More on pregnancy naturopathy →Thyroid concerns, fatigue that’s never quite consistent, hormonally driven acne, and the anxiety and nervous-system side of hormonal change.
Trying to conceive, or already pregnant? Fertility and pregnancy care has its own overview covering both sides of the clinic.
Online, Australia-wide
The naturopathic side of women’s health at Sprout is run by Hannah Ward, a degree-qualified naturopath with a Masters in Reproductive Medicine. That’s postgraduate study in the same reproductive science fertility specialists work from, and not many naturopaths have it. It means your care comes from someone who properly understands the medical side too, and who can read your test results in both languages. It’s also the area Hannah cared enough about to go back to university for.
Hannah looks at the full picture: cycle length, ovulation signs, the quality of each phase, where symptoms cluster, and how things like sleep, stress and digestion feed into it. She uses functional testing where it helps to fill in the gaps, then works with diet, lifestyle, targeted nutrition and herbal medicine. She doesn’t over-prescribe; the aim is to get you well and keep you there, not leave you relying on a cupboard full of supplements.
Consultations run over secure video, treatment plans come to you by email, and prescribed herbs and supplements are dispensed and delivered express straight to your door. Testing can be organised remotely, so where you live doesn’t change the care you get.
In clinic at Paradise Point
Acupuncture at Sprout runs in person at our Paradise Point clinic. We’re a women’s health focused clinic; our acupuncturists work mainly with women on their cycles, hormones, fertility, pregnancy, chronic pain and stress. In a session we spend time on the detail: cycle length, ovulation signs, the quality of each phase, where symptoms cluster. A period that’s late every month is different from one that’s short, and pain at ovulation is different from pain on day one. That specificity matters for how we approach things.
You’ll see one of our three acupuncturists: Conor, Sharni or Rachel. All are AHPRA and AACMA registered, each with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in acupuncture and Chinese medicine. At the end of a first appointment we’ll give you a sense of how many sessions we’d suggest. That varies; something acute can shift in two or three, while fertility support or PCOS management tends to be a longer commitment over several months, and we’re upfront about that so you know what you’re getting into.
This sits comfortably alongside Hannah’s online care. She works closely with our in-house acupuncturists, and for fertility in particular the two are often paired, with timing coordinated around your specialist’s protocol if you’re partway through IVF.
Getting started
Around an hour, online with Hannah or in person at Paradise Point. Time to go through your cycle, your history, any results you already have, and what you’ve tried so far.
Hannah reviews your existing bloodwork and can organise functional testing remotely, but only where the result would genuinely change the plan. No testing for testing’s sake.
The basics done well first: food, movement, sleep and stress, with targeted nutrition and herbal medicine added where there’s a clear reason for it. Anything prescribed is posted out express, and follow-ups adjust the plan as things change.

FAQ
It depends what’s going on and where you are. Naturopathy with Hannah runs online anywhere in Australia, and it’s the place to start if you want testing, herbal medicine and nutrition as part of the picture. Acupuncture is in person at Paradise Point, so it’s an option if you’re on the Gold Coast. The two sides of the clinic work closely together, and plenty of local women do both. If you’re genuinely not sure, book a free 10-minute call and we’ll help you figure out which fits.
Yes. Online consultations are available Australia-wide. They run over secure video, with time for discussion, assessment and ongoing review in much the same way as an in-person appointment. Functional testing can be organised remotely, and personalised herbs and supplements are dispensed and delivered express straight to your home.
If your private health plan covers acupuncture you can claim a portion of your consult back, and we have a HICAPS terminal in the clinic so you can claim on the spot. This applies to in-clinic acupuncture appointments. Medicare is separate from private health, so unfortunately treatments can’t be claimed through Medicare.
A lot of the women we see have been told everything looks normal. Reference ranges are broad, and a result can scrape into range and still be doing you no favours. A set of individually fine results can also tell a different story when you put them side by side. That second look is a lot of what an initial consult is for.
No. Care at Sprout sits alongside whatever your GP or specialist has in place, and we’d actively encourage that. Hannah’s postgraduate training means she can read your results in both languages and work with your medical care, not around it. On the acupuncture side it’s the same; during pregnancy, for example, we check in with your midwife or OB before we start.
No. Hannah is deliberate about not over-prescribing. The plan starts with the basics done well, and nutritional or herbal support is added only where there’s a clear reason for it. The aim is to get you well and keep you there, not leave you relying on a shelf of products.
