Fertility, pregnancy, and the months either side ask a lot of your body. At Sprout we support women across that whole arc: preconception and fertility, through pregnancy, and into the postpartum recovery that so often gets overlooked.
Some women see us for acupuncture in our Paradise Point clinic on the Gold Coast, some work with our naturopath online, and plenty do both. Where you start depends on where you are. Common questions
Do I see an acupuncturist or a naturopath?
Both are options, and they do different things. Acupuncture, in our Paradise Point clinic, works on blood flow, cycle regularity and nervous system support. Naturopathy, online with Hannah Ward (who holds a Master of Reproductive Medicine), looks at nutrition, herbal medicine and functional testing. Many women choose one; plenty combine the two.
Can I combine acupuncture and naturopathy?
Yes, and a lot of women do. The two work well together: acupuncture on the physical and nervous-system side, naturopathy on what’s happening internally. You don’t have to do both, though. We’ll help you work out what makes sense for your situation.
Do I need to be on the Gold Coast?
For acupuncture, yes, that’s in-clinic at Paradise Point. Naturopathy is delivered online and is available anywhere in Australia, so you can do preconception, pregnancy and postpartum naturopathic care from wherever you are.
When should I start?
There’s no wrong time. For fertility, many women start a few months before trying, or before an assisted cycle, since egg maturation takes around 90 days. For pregnancy, women come to us at every stage, from the early weeks through to birth preparation. Wherever you are, we meet you there.
